On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in Ambleside. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. Cycling is convenient in Ambleside since the area is reasonably flat, and the cycling infrastructure is extensive. Getting around on foot is not especially practical for house buyers in this part of the city because few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
